Faced with a life-threatening illness, 30yr-old autistic Lenny Blake sends out an SOS to his 'alien' friend living a mere 21.6m light-years away, but when the alien's spaceship gets hit by a piece of space junk and Lenny's mission fails, it is left to his younger brother Joe to find a way to save him, and prove that aliens really do exist.
